Confession: I still haven’t performed part a couple of TellTale’s episodic Bet on Thrones series. For those I understand, King Joffrey has arrested our heroes and sentenced these to dying by rabid weasel (it appears like his type of corporal punishment). I’d better arrive at the weasels – if weasels there be – before Thursday of the week when Episode Three, “The Sword within the Darkness,” arrives on Android.
Like other TellTale adventure games, Bet on Thrones runs parallel towards the Cinemax series, but informs its very own distinct tales. And due to the setting from the game, set between the 3rd season/book, you will not spoil your self on the approaching fifth season by playing through it. Each new episode costs $5, or rather less if you have sprung for that season pass. This is actually the third of six episodes, so expect some big twists through the finish from the 1-2 hour episode.
The Android form of Bet on Thrones gets its episodic update just 2 days following the PC version. Exactly the same factor happened a week ago using the more lighthearted Tales In the Borderlands adventure game, so it appears as though TellTale is devoted to releasing mobile installments just like rapidly because it releases desktop and console episodes. Now if perhaps they’d focus on which makes them run better on Android hardware…
